Equity Investment: An official application has been submitted to the council of Hackney, by Galliard Homes Limited Head Office, for the development of 385 residential apartments at the site Curtain Road, Shoreditch, Hackney, London, EC2A 3PQ. This privately funded project falls under the umbrella of New build projects, and it will include the commencement of the new project on an existing empty land. It has been awarded a subcontract, but it is still pending a detailed approval.

The project will begin construction in January 2018 and finish development in January 2020. Towering 40 storeys high, 385 apartments will be developed during the project. 115 parking spaces will be provided for the residents. 264 one bedroom apartments, 84 two bedroom apartments, 23 three bedroom apartments and 14 four bedroom apartments will be featured in this project. The entire floor and site area covered by the units will be 6500 square meters and 1.02 Ha respectively.

Perkins & Will and Montagu Evans LLP will take the roles of the primary architect and the primary planner for this project. Townshend Landscape Architects will act as the primary landscape architecture firm for the development.

The lead civil engineering consultant and structural engineering consultant will be Buro Happold. The project management group includes Hanover Cube and DML. CJ O’Shea Group Limited, the primary contractor, has won the subcontracts for foundations and groundworks, while John F Hunt Demolition Group will be the primary demolition subcontractor for the entire development.
