Bridging Finance Loans News:-Canary Wharf Group PLC has submitted an application for the development of residential houses and commercial property on the site Wood Wharf Rm01, Development Plots A1, A4, B3 and D1, Wood Wharf, Prestons Road, Poplar, London, E14 9SB. An estimated cost of £100M will be used in the construction of mixed-use development finance of 58 storeys, comprising of 472 units. The physical structure will also include an underground storey. The project is still pending contract and details approval. This project is a new build, which means that the construction will be commenced upon the previously vacant property. The council of Tower Hamlets has awarded the subcontract to the application, while a detailed approval is still in process.

The project will begin development in early October 2015 and finish construction in 50 months in early December 2019. Housing units, rising as high as 58 storeys, will be developed for this project. It will consist of 472 residential units. 245 one bedroom flats, 174 two bedroom flats, 49 three bedroom flats, and 4 four bedroom flats will be featured in this project. The structure will cover a site area of 72.88 Ha and a floor area of 22254 square meters. The development will also feature a ground restaurant and basement car parking.
Herzog & de Meuron UK Limited, Adamson Associates (International) Limited, Allies & Morrison Urban Practitioners, and Stanton Williams have been chosen to act as the primary architecture firms for the project, while GVA Worldwide Head Office will be the primary planner for the development. Wirtz International and Gleeds UK Head Office will join the development as the primary landscape architect, and quantity surveyor respectively. Atelier Ten will offer their consultancy services in the aspects of mechanical & electrical engineering, and the primary structural engineering consultant will be Thornton Tomasetti. Steer Davies and Gleave will join the development as the primary Civil engineering consultant. The project manager for the entire development will be Canary Wharf Group PLC. Canary Wharf Contractors Limited will join the development as the primary contractor. Bachy Soletanche and Expanded Limited have won the subcontracts for groundworks. The scaffolding and interior fitting out subcontracts have been assigned to Proplant Scaolding Limited. The primary frame subcontractors are O’Halloran & O’Brien Limited and Expanded Limited. The leading mechanical and electrical subcontractors are NG Bailey & Company Limited, Emico Limited, and SES Engineering Services. Schneider (GB) Limited has won the subcontracts for doors, external walls, and windows. PIP Building Services Limited has been awarded the subcontracts for electrical services, fire protection, and security services.
