Online Bridging Finance News: Congratulations to London Borough of Brent for officially submitting an application for the residential development at the site 1 Durham Court, Kilburn Park Road, Kilburn, London, NW6 5XE.The council of Brent has granted a subcontract to the client, but they are still awaiting a detailed approval. The client has gained planning for the development from the authorities. A project of this scale would normally be funded by development finance, but due to this being a government project they will have there own funds. Bridging finance could have been used to purchase the site, now the site has planning they can move there finance on to development finance.

This project is publicly funded, and it has been categorized as a Brownfield Contract project, which means that it will mainly consist of refurbishing, extending or repairing the existing infrastructure on the land.
London Borough of Brent will begin the project in June 2018 and finish the entire development by June 2020. The entire project will finish development in 24 months. Upon completion, the development will span over a site area of 1.31 Ha respectively.
The existing infrastructure will be replaced with a total of 236 individual residential units, which will rise up to 6 storeys. 92 one bedroom, 85 two bedroom flats, 52 three bedroom flats and 7 four bedroom flats with associated parking and landscaping will be developed to take place of the old houses.
Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects, Gort Scott Architects and Alison Brooks Architects Limited have been assigned the role of the primary architecture firms for the regeneration process. Grant Associates will act as the lead landscape architect for the development, and they will be joined by Currie and Brown who will take on the role of the Quantity Surveyor.
