An official application has been submitted to the council of Croydon for the development of residential units for by Bridges Ventures LLP. The site chose for the project is Taberner House & Queens Gardens, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey, CR9 3JS. The project has been categorized as Brownfield Project, and it will be a mixed funded project. The subcontract has been awarded to the application, but it is still pending a detailed approval.
Short Term Loans
The entire development will be finished in a time period of 36 months; from April 2018 to April 2021. 5 structures, rising as high as 32 storeys, will be developed for the project, and they will consist of 514 residential units for the residents. The floor and the site are for the construction will be 1159 square meters and 1.28Ha respectively. 208 one bedroom houses, 233 two bedroom houses, and 73 three bedroom houses will be developed for the structures. The development will also include general parking areas and associated landscaping.
The position of the lead architecture firms for the project will be filled by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and Darling Associates, while the primary planner for the development will be GL Hearn & Partners and Gerald Eve (Head Office). Gillespies Head Office, Grant Associates, and DSA Engineering will act as the primary landscape architecture firms and the primary quantity surveyor will be Faithful+Gould Limited Head Office.
The consultancy services for mechanical & electrical engineering, structural engineering, and civil engineering will be provided by Aecom Head Office. WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff (Head Office) and WME Consultants will also join them for the consultancy services in the fields of structural engineering, civil engineering and sustainability. Hub Residential will be the project manager, and the primary demolition subcontractor will be Erith Group.
