London Square has submitted an official application for the development of 252 flats, houses and apartments at the site Caledonian Road, Holloway, London, N7 9RE. The subcontract has been awarded to the client, but they are still waiting for a detailed approval. This a design and build contract, and it has been categorized as a Brownfield Site project. This privately funded project will begin in the second quarter of 2017.
Large Bridging Loan
Spread over a floor area of 8184 square meters, and a site area of 8900 square meters, this project will involve the construction of 1 structure consisting of 11 storeys above the ground level. 252 residential units will be developed, involving 50 one bedroom houses, 181 two bedroom houses, 9 three bedroom houses and 12 four bedroom houses. The parking areas will offer 522 parking spaces for the residents.
Paskin Kyriakides Sands will take the position of the lead architect for the project, and the primary planner for the project will be DP9 Planning Consultants. The lead landscape architecture firm will be Cameo +Partners. Horae Lea will consult in the areas of Mechanical and Electrical engineering and Sustainability. Waterman Building Services Limited will provide their consultancy services for Structural and Civil engineering. The primary energy consultant will be Greengage.
The primary contractor for the entire project in London Square. JS Wright & Company Limited has won three subcontracts for Heating & Ventilation, Mechanical engineering and Plumbing. O’Halloran & O’Brien Limited has been awarded four subcontracts involving foundations subcontract, Civils subcontract, Frame subcontract and Groundworks subcontract. The subcontracts for floor finishing and wall finishing have been awarded to Stone & Ceramic Limited. Rationel Windows (UK) Limited has won the subcontracts for Windows and Doors construction.
