Refurbishment Finance News:-An official application has been submitted to the council of Westminster for the development of residential units at the site St Johns Wood Barracks, Ordnance Hill, St Johns Wood, London, NW8 6PT. The application has been awarded tender, while it is still pending detailed approval. The project is labelled as Brownfield Site project, and it will involve the demolition of existing property on the land and construction of the new structures.

The construction of the entire project will take 60 months, from the first quarter of 2019 to the first quarter of 2024. The floor area for this project will cover 420 square meters, and the site area will cover an area of 2.2 Ha. 163 residential units will be developed for this project, which will be 4 storeys high. 58 one bed houses, 26 two bed houses, 37 three bed houses and 42 four bed houses will be constructed, and 158 parking spaces will be developed for the residents.
David Hill of Squire and Partners and Gary Clarke of Wilkinson Eyre Architects Head Office will act as the lead architects for this project. The role of primary planners will be filled by DP9 Planning Consultants. Andy Sturgeon Landscape and Garden Design will join the project as the lead landscape architecture firm, while the primary Quantity Surveyor will be Arcadis Head Office. Robert Bird Group will join the project as Structural engineering consultants and Civil engineering consultants.
The consultancy services for Mechanical and Electrical engineering and Sustainability will be provided by WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff (Head Office) and Atelier Ten respectively. Arcadis Head office is the project manager for the entire development.
